About Us
Aged Care Maldives (ACM) is a non-profit NGO that strives to enrich the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of the elderly. ACM provides support services to senior citizens and their families to empower them to better manage the physical and emotional challenges of ageing. ACM advocates for policies and a societal outlook that elevates the rights and dignity of senior citizens.
Founded in 2008, ACM is a continuation of the Manfaa Centre on Ageing (2004) founded by Dr. Aishath Jameel and her husband Mohamed Ismail Maniku to address the challenges of elderly care in the Maldives.
